Josiah Dupree Boyd is one of Southern California's exciting young quarterback prospects in the Class of 2028. Standing around 6 foot 3, Boyd brings an impressive combination of size, arm strength, accuracy and mobility to the quarterback position. A standout at Vista del Lago High School in Moreno Valley, he has already established himself as a productive dual-threat quarterback.
During his sophomore season, Boyd threw for 2,620 yards and 19 touchdowns while adding 462 rushing yards and nine rushing touchdowns. His junior campaign has continued that momentum, showing improved production through the air with 22 passing touchdowns in nine games.
Scouting evaluations have highlighted his ability to throw accurately at all three levels of the field, make plays outside the pocket and use his legs to create opportunities.
